RULES and GAME PLAY
All registered players must purchase the game FIFA20 in order to play. If you don't have a copy of FIFA20 for XBOX or Playstation you will be inelibigle to play. To purchase the game, please visit https://www.ea.com/games/fifa/fifa-20/buy. NHesports has no affiliation with EA and is only the organizing body for the league play.
For the game FIFA20, at this time there is no cross platform play. This means that if you have an XBOX Console you will play against other players who play on XBOX. If you have a Playstation console, you will play against other players who play on PS.
Connecting with Players to Play - It is important to make contact with your opponent prior to each game. You can send messages to your opponents by visiting www.nhesports.com/members

Games are played 1 v 1.
Regular Season – There will be 15 regular season games with a playoff format. All players will make playoffs and be seeded according to regular season standings. Standings link will be posted for viewing and updated.
Game Play -
- Each game day will have a date and time on the schedule.
- The home team player will add their opponent’s gametag as friend and invite them to play.
- Players should play Classic Matches.
- Players are allowed to change their team each time they play.
- Match time should be set to 6 minute halves. If the match results in a draw, players will need to restart a new match with the “Golden Goal” rule. (First player to score, wins)
- The strategy for each match is simply to score more goals then your opponent.
- Regular Season 5 games
- Playoffs – Single Elimination, top seed vs lowest seed format
We recommend that you play your matches on a LAN connection(wired) instead of WiFi to avoid potential lag and disruptions
Gameplay Settings: Tactical Defending Required, You can choose any team (Club or International) to play. Players are allowed to change their team throughout the tournament.
Time: Players are responsible to kickoff their match no more than 7 minutes from their match start time. Failure to do so will result in an automatic forfeit.
Submit Scores: The winner is responsible for submitting their scores. Please make sure to enter your scores per period as follows :
Submit Your Scores – Games are played in halves, so enter the 1st half score in 1st. Enter the 2nd half score in 2nd. Then enter game total. If there is overtime, you would enter the score in either 3rd or 4th. The most important thing is to have the final score correct. You do not need to submit scores until after your game is over.

Lag/Settings: Please report lag and pre-game issues no more than 2 minutes after the match begins.
Disconnections: In the event of a disconnection, you and your opponent must finish the remainder of the match while keeping the score the same at the time of disconnection.
For example, if the disconnection occurred at the 30th minute, a new match will begin and be played until the 60th in-game minute.
When you reach the 60th minute and the ball is no longer in play, the match is over and both players must quit the game. If you continue to play and goals are scored, those goals will count towards the final result.
We highly recommend recording video of all game footage in case of a dispute
Overtime (Draw): If the match ends in a draw after full time, players will need to restart a new match with the “Golden Goal” rule. (First player to score, wins)
